Thanks. In the mean time I did something very similar, but using org.eclipse.swt.cocoa.macosx.x86_64_3.8.1.v3836b.jar with just -XstartOnFirstThread. I tried the carbon version, but it wasn't happy, probably because I didn't put -d32.
