I've just mange to achive this by slightly modifying cli command that was valid for 4.1

esxcli storage nmp satp rule add --satp VMW_SATP_LOCAL --driver="mptsas" --description="LSILogic/Symbios Logic SC44Ge Host Bus Adapter"

I've tested this with sc44ge card and HP 1/8 G2 Autoloader (SAS version). Works like charm
