Aha! Thanks gradinka, that may indeed be the issue in this case although the same issue was present in 5.6 as well for me at least. I'll keep this discussion up to date if I do find anything else on my end (many other tasks I have to work on so we'll see), and please let me know once the hotfix is out. =)
